I'll bet daddy feels that way sometimes, too

Thing 4 has been getting really wound up in the evenings lately. Last night, I held him on the couch and tried to calm him down.
He yelled, "Let me go!"
I said, "No, you're supposed to say, 'I love to snuggle with my mommy!'"
He said, "I love you, too. Now get off me."

Ha, ha! Why do they have to grow up so fast? My daughter refuses to give me a hug and kiss goodbye in the mornings now because as she puts it, "Why do you always have to embarrass me mom?". I thought I had a few more years before that stage hit!!!

I'm glad to hear you can still "handle" the lad. It's good for him to have his Mom whip up on him from time to time. It's called 'grounding'.
