The wait is over, the party's begun...

Heaven has a new hellraiser tonight. Elsie has gone on to glory, and the party is in full swing. We wish she would have stayed longer with us, and we will miss her terribly.

I'm sorry, yet happy it is over for her. I know she didn't want to go on like this. I offer our sympathy to the entire clan.
Having a caring family by her side thru this journey is what really mattered.
After my Mom's passing a nurse at the hospital told me, "You'd be surprised at the number of folks who die here and NO ONE shows up or cares. (Of course we had clogged the area with 7 siblings and spouses.)
Elsie was fortunate to have all of you. Thanks for including me in the update list from Caring Bridge.

So sorry about your MIL but if she's raising hell in Heaven then I know she's happy! My condolences to all your family. She will be missed.

Hi Gette, I am sorry for all you guys, I know you will be missing your mother-in-law so much. But t is like all, when they get to a stage in life God just plain wants them for Himself only.
My Mother-in-law died a year ago January. We still go over her many stories, things we did with her, and things we wish now we would have.
We are going through that with a very dear friend who won't make it through today or else tomorrow. Mrs. Jim finally came home from the nursing home last night about midnight.
I am glad for your Mother that she was a Christian and that this is a 'homecoming' for her. Our friend made a death bed acceptance of the Lord not yet a week ago while she was still in the hospital.
We will be praying for God's comfort for all you now.

Oh G'gette... I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard she's been fighting and how much care you've given her. My prayers are with her and your family.

She is in a new stage of life, one with no pain and suffering...She was lucky to have a loving and caring family.
