Thursday Thirteen: Concerts

Thirteen Concerts I've Seen

In rough chronological order. Starting at age 14.

1. Rick Springfield (I did say I was 14...)
2. Michael W. Smith
3. Quiet Riot
4. R.E.M.
5. (twice)
6. Alice Cooper. What a showman. What a show.
7. REO Speedwagon
8. (twice)
9. ZZ Topp
10. Kansas and Lynrd Skynrd. Kansas kicked it. Skynrd was a letdown, but it made for a great story
11. B.B.King Oh, mais oui!
12. Ronnie Milsap
13. The Gaithers homecoming concert
Bonus!
14. Blues Traveler. 9 months pregnant with a 9yo daughter. Great fun! If you ever want to get right up front at a concert, just look like you might give birth on someone's foot and they'll get out of your way in a hurry.
15. Lifelight Festival 2006

Great list. I did a 13 on concerts awhile back too. Loved Alice Cooper, you're right he is a great showman. Saw REO Speedwagon twice too. Never got to see ZZ Top, always wanted to.

My 13 is up.

Those would all be great concerts I'm sure. I like everyone on your list.

I would also add Genesis, Van Halen, and Fleetwood Mac

My TT is up....Pearl Harbor remembrance.

I'll have to nip back and have a look at some older posts, but it sounds like music is fairly important to you then?

Happy belated Thursday Thirteen!

Awesome list. My husband saw Blues Traveler in concert in Virgina Beach. Said he was amazing.

I can say I would love to see any one of those!! We only get country here! Once in a while it would have been nice to see something different!

Thanks for visiting me earlier and the nice comment!

My grandma and mom used the phrase you did, A LOT when I was going through that period.

It definitely made me stronger and I really don't have any regrets except for losing the ability to see my stepchildren. :o)
