Domestic Diva

I've been cleaning and rearranging furniture to get ready for company. I am amazed at how much junk accumulates under furniture. I moved the couch Monday, and moved it again Tuesday, and it had already created a new pile of junk underneath. So I present you with...

Thirteen Things I Found under the couch this week

1…. Socks
2. Bread
3. Mummified baby carrots
4. prune pits
5. playing cards
6. Polly Pocket clothes
7. Modeling clay
8. toy cars
9. A clip-on earring
10. Pennies
11. Crayons
12. 2 remote controls
13. Yarn

With that, I'm off to bed with my achy knees and dishpan hands. Poor me, poor me.

Morning! Happy TT.

Those things all seem quite normal... I think it's weirder if you move your couch & don't find stuff under it (?).

Hope you have a good xmas, company & all.

:) That's a lot of things hiding under the couch. Do we want to know HOW they got there? Hehe.

I think the only stuff under mine is dust!

WHAT? No batteries????? I found about a dozen batteries down inside the couch not too long ago! LOL
My TT is up with my Christmas wish list if you wanna check it out

Amazing the things that end up under the couch! Nothing under ours at the moment - except dust. ;) With a kitten in the house, we've really made an effort to keep things tidy.

Happy T13. :)

Perfect list! It's one all parents can relate to! My oldest (2 1/2) has taken to purposely dropping toys behind the couch now and saying "Mommy will get it". At least we always know where to look for missing toys. :)

Mine is up!

What a good idea, I am so jealous I didn't think of this idea for a list, it's hilarious.

The post I made just the day before todays' Thursday Thirteen was about housework. We don't have a couch...we would except that we use our living room as a studio for art work. But since Christmas shopping and cooking for the last two weeks the apartment is a nightmare. I have so much stuff piled in my studio I actually slipped on the collage material and wiped out. I posted photos of the mess on our desk and kitchen...it's like monkeys have been running through it.

How does all that stuff get lost under the couch...and how do socks get lost in the laundry...life's mysteries huh?

mummified baby carrots - well the dust bunnies gotta eat something!

Two remotes? That's all? LOL I think we have at least four in the living room.

Mummified carrots...maybe someone was saving them for later? ;)

I am up if you care to stop by.

OH! I don't want to even see what's lurking under my couch!

Have a great Thursday!

I tipped our couch over to vacuum underneath. It cost me, carpet cleaners, painted walls and ceiling, a new corner hutch, an entertainment center, a 55" hd tv(actually I told my wife this was an investment not an expense), a new loveseat and a new couch.
Trust me. Don't look under there. Leave it dirty.
